Hamilton Beach Counter Top Oven a Great Addition to Any Kitchen

I had seen and read about the Hamilton Beach Counter Top Oven (model number 31197) and thought it was interesting but, because of the price, I never once thought about buying it. However, after my parents purchased one and I got to see it in action, I now know what I want for Christmas.

The thing I found intriguing about the Hamilton Beach Counter Top Oven was its size. Unlike a toaster oven that is maybe big enough to hold a few slices of bread or, if you’re lucky, a small frozen pizza; the Hamilton Beach Oven is both tall and deep, giving you plenty of cooking space for things like a whole chicken or, if you leave the oven rack in, two frozen pizzas at once. Yet, it’s designed so it will still fit on your counter. It even comes with a rotisserie.

Since the oven uses traditional dial controls (similar to what you would see on a toaster oven), it is very easy to use and I was able to figure it out without an instruction manual; though it probably would have been best to read it.

When I did my research on the oven, one of the things people were saying was it didn’t cook as well when you were cooking more than one item at a time. I didn’t see this when I was using it. In fact, the reason we had it out was we were making food for my dad’s retirement party and it was cooking the food as fast as their regular oven was. The counter top oven does a great job of circulating the heat so all the food gets cooked evenly rather than having the stuff on the bottom cooking faster than the stuff on the top.

Of course, the main reason I want one is how well it cooks pizzas. I have a pizza oven and it does a great job cooking the frozen pizzas I buy. But, it can only cook one at a time and my family needs at least two pizzas to get our fill. Besides, I actually don’t like our oven all that much and have a feeling we would be using this one much more.

So, Mom and Dad, if you are reading this, please consider the Hamilton Beach Counter Top Oven the one item at the top of my Christmas list. After using yours, I don’t think I could live without one of my own.
