Hannah Montana Crafts: Hannah Montana Storage Boxes

To Make This Hannah Montana Craft Storage Box You Will Need:

One Hannah Montana Poster

Pre Made Wood Box

Adhesive

Power Drill

Screw

Knob

Scissors

Glue

To get started I need to tell you will be cutting and using the poster, so buy one you do not mind using as craft paper!

Now, on to making the Hannah Montana jewelry box or storage box.

Take your pre made wood storage box from the craft store. Measure how wide and long the lid is. You will also want to measure how tall the lid is on the sides. The lid only at this point.

Now, multiply the height of the lid by 2 and add this number onto the length and the width.

Cut out a rectangle to this size. This should be large enough to cover the lid and the sides of the lid all at once. I like to cu this out of scrap paper first and make sure it fits, then cut my poster, this way you do not wreck your Hannah Montana poster and have to buy a new one.

Place the scrap paper pattern on top of the lid. Center it. Fold the sides down and see if they cover it and how they line up.

Now, take the corrected lid pattern and lay it out on your Hannah Montana photo. You want to decide which part of the poster you want to be the to of the lid. There can be Hannah Montana’s face, words, or anything else on the poster.

Cut this out carefully after tracing the rectangle onto the poster with a penile.

Lightly spray the back of the cut out piece of poster with a spray adhesive. Do this outside. Lay it on top of the box lid. You need to center it the first time because it will stick upon contact.

Smooth the top with your hands and gently fold the sides over. Just like wrapping a present. You will have pieces sticking out on the corners after you press the paper on the sides. Gently field these back on the lid, each corner should be folded to the inside on the sides of the lid. Use glue t hold these down.

Now, repeat this whole process on the bottom half of the the box. Measure sides, then height of the sides.

Once the whole box is covered let the spray adhesive dry overnight on the Hannah Montana jewelry box or storage box. You can screw a drawer knot onto the front of the lid for more detail!
