Most candles are made by adding one-half ounce of oil to the melted wax. However, in the heavily scented candles, this amount is tripled.

The fragrance from a heavily scented candle tends to evaporate when it is exposed to the air. You will know whether you have bought a heavily scented candle when you get it home and light it up.
