This season offers seven great episodes. My favorite episode is “What’s Wrong with Mrs. Bale? This episode takes Lionel and Jean to their country house, where they discover Mrs. Bale is acting “distinctly peculiar.” This is a funny episode that really plays on the supporting characters’ charm. This set also contains five great trailers for other BBC titles that are now available on DVD. Watching these trailers can give you ideas for other gift options.

Cons of As Time Goes By: Complete Season 6 DVD Collection

While I adore As Time Goes By, this season is a little slower moving then most of the other As Time Goes By seasons. This season really doesn’t have many “adventure” for the characters to experience, but instead focuses on slowing down. Also this season doesn’t offer many special features. Another drawback to this DVD is that it doesn’t offer captioning options. This set could have been better had it included bloopers, behind the scenes featurettes, and/or interviews with the cast and crew.

Finding As Time Goes By can be somewhat difficult if you don’t know where to look. I haven’t been able to find any of the As Time Goes By DVDs locally, but I have found them online.
