Honest Forgiveness

Honest forgiveness,
pure as a mountain spring,
love and light
to a hardened heart brings.

Charity of the soul
to myself I give,
forever closing the gap
so closer to myself I’ll live.

And of this charity
gifts to everyone spread,
brightening the light of stars
on the paths humanity treads.

Showing others the way
through the living night,
that when you’ve been wronged
forgiveness is just and right.
