Host a Holiday Gift Wrapping Party and Get in the Mood for Christmas
Think of friends and family who would be anxious to get together and tackle the big task of gift wrapping in a fun filled way with a group.
Pick and date and time that as many as possible can attend. Try to do this at least two weeks ahead of Christmas and so everyone you invite knows to save their gift wrapping for the party. Set a budget you can afford. You don’t have to spend a lot to make this fun. Everyone has already spent a lot on the gifts so don’t go all out for refreshments.
Choose the location. It can be on your living room or den floor. Just make sure there is plenty of space for everyone to sit and wrap their gifts.
Select Christmas music to get everyone in the spirit. Set the mood of the party. Cover the entrance door, coffee and end tables with Christmas wrapping paper and a bow. Tie chair backs with Christmas bows.
Have drinks and ice set out for everyone to serve themselves. Fill bowls with chips, nuts and fruits. Have plates of sandwiches made up ahead of time. You can also make cheese and cracker and veggie and dip plates.
Keep special gifts hidden if you have bought for those attending. You don’t want to ruin the surprise wrap these at a later time.
Above all have fun. Its Christmas anytime is a good time for a party. Get wrapping.
