Hotel Guide: Dallas, Texas

So you’ve found yourself in Texas, and more specifically, the third largest city in this wonderful state – Dallas. This city is also the ninth-largest city in the United States, so it is of no wonder why this particular city is constantly under visitation from tourists and businesspeople. Dallas has a population of over 1.1 million individuals, so of course, they are going to have many different hotels to choose from. And with all of these various choices, one can easily become overwhelmed by the sheer amount of homework and feature finding one would have to do in order to satisfy their families and themselves (or business partners). It is with this consideration that I have researched and found the top three hotels that lie within this metropolitan area. So no matter why you are in Dallas, for business or pleasure (or a mix of the two), there is a hotel that is absolutely perfect for you.

The first hotel in which I reviewed is the four-and-a-half star Hotel Crescent Court. This uptown style and Texas panache is located in the eclectic Arts District – don’t worry, eclectic does not mean crazy. This hotel is an art-lovers dream (or someone who is in need of a little class and spice). The lobby of the Hotel Crescent Court is done in a “great-room-style” with an impressive two-story vaulted ceiling, limestone walls, grand French windows, and flooring composed of Italian and Spanish marble. The Hotel Crescent is outdone in a 22,000 square foot spa which is as comprehensive as any Beverly Hills spa. There are classes in which are available for all guests for a surcharge – some of the classes include yoga, Pilates, and kickboxing. The hotel Crescent Court is outfitted with 220 guestrooms, all of which are decorated in a European-style mahogany furniture and French doors that open to wrought-iron balconies with views of the courtyard or pool area. High-speed Internet access is available to guests for a surcharge, and complimentary Ethernet kits are provided upon request. This hotel is far from what you would expect from a Dallas hotel, but it is a very pleasant surprise.

The second hotel in which I reviewed is the Grand Hyatt DFW. This four-star hotel was opened in 2005 as part of the Dallas-Fort Worth Airport’s multibillion-dollar International Terminal D. So it is very obvious that this hotel is situated within the actual International Airport, which is absolutely perfect for business travelers that are staying for a short amount of time and don’t want to travel anymore than they have too. The Grand Hyatt DFW has a rooftop health club which includes a heated outdoor splash pool, cardio machines with personal flat-screen Tvs, circuit equipment, free weights, locker rooms with steam rooms, and two rooms for massage treatments. All throughout the hotel, wireless Internet access is available for a surcharge. Although this hotel mainly caters to the business crowd families will enjoy is pristine location within the Dallas area and the upscale, yet comfortable dÃ?©cor. Somehow this hotel has made it possible to cater to two completely different genres of individuals and yet, make each one feel like this hotel was made just for them. The Grand Hyatt DFW is definitely a hotel in which all will enjoy.

And the last hotel in which I reviewed is hard to pronounce, but yet, very elegant and full of southern style – The Adolphus-A Noble House Hotel. This hotel was built in 1912 by beer baron Adolphus Busch. This 21-story hotel is located in Dallas’ financial district and is outfitted with ornate furnishings, antiques, exquisite fabrics, mahogany paneling, crystal chandeliers, ceiling murals, and other works of art. This wonderfully beautiful hotel is home to both business travelers who are looking for the affluent status that this hotel offers as well as weekend romantics who are longing to rekindle an old flame or spark up a new one. This hotel absolutely screams of old-world glamour that will transport guests to a more gentle time when the only worry was where tea was to be served. In a hectic and traumatic world it is nice to see that there is still a haven in the storms of life. Besides the beautiful art, there is a 23,000 square foot fitness facility which features cardio equipment, free weights, exercise balls, yoga mats, etc. There is also a business center onsite, and meeting space, which most of the above includes high-speed Internet access. The Adolphus offers 428 guestrooms on all 21 floors. All accommodations have separate sitting areas and walk-in closets. Another great amenity is that all rooms have complimentary wireless Internet access, which is becoming a rarity to find a network that is free.

So in conclusion, no matter why you have found yourself in Dallas, there is a hotel that will fit your situation, mood, and above all your pocket book. Make yourself happy – stay in a Perfect Hotel.
