Hotel Guide: Daytona Beach, Florida
The first hotel in which I reviewed is The Shores Resort & Spa – a Noble House Resort. This four-star hotel rests directly on the Atlantic Ocean, so the views are absolutely amazing. When guests enter the lobby of this hotel, they are greeted by a bubbling fountain, which is surrounded by lush foliage and comfortable seating areas. The lobby bar and restaurant offer amazing views of the pool and the Atlantic Ocean. And in the evenings, guests gather in the lobby to play board games, listen to the live pinao, or to simply enjoy the view. Some of the various amenities this hotel offers to its guests include an outdoor free-form swimming pool and spa tub which overlooks the beach. In the mood to exercise? Well, The Shores Resort & Spa offers exercises, stair machines, and Universal machines all within its fitness center. For those individuals who are wanting to experience more of the ocean, beachfront eating – both outdoor and indoor – are available. The second hotel in which I reviewed is the Plaza Resort & Spa. This historic three-and-a-half-star hotel rests on the oceanfront, allowing its guests amazing views of the Atlantic Ocean. This hotel was built in the 1900s, and was outfitted in a Spanish-style. When guests enter its two-story lobby , they are greeted by paintings of historic Daytona Beach as well as many Art Deco furnishings. Some of the various amenities this hotel offers its guests include a sundeck with an outdoor lap pool, lounge chairs, and a putting green which overlooks the beach. The Plaza Resort & Spa offers 320 guestrooms in eclectic building. All rooms are located in the building’s seven-story and thirteen-story wings and feature dark-wood furnishings. Some of the various in-room amenities this hotel offers its guests include microwaves, refrigerators, and high-speed Internet access for a surcharge. Most of the rooms at this hotel have balconies, and some of the rooms have ocean views – during check-in, you may request a room with an ocean view.
And the last hotel in which I reviewed is the Hilton Daytona Beach. This three-and-a-half-star oceanfront hotel rests across the street from the convention center, so it is a must stay hotel for conventioneers. This hotel overlooks the Daytona Beach boardwalk and is adjacent to the Atlantic Ocean. When guests enter the lobby they immediately notice its lush greenery and cool pastel colors, which fit in perfectly with its natural surroundings of the beach. The two-tower hotel attracts both families and leisure travelers. Some of the various amenities this hotel offers its guests include a splash pool on the fifth floor, a spa tub and a poolside bar. Need to stay in shape for the beach? Well, this Hilton offers its guests a world-class fitness center. There is also wireless Internet access available in the lobby for a surcharge. There are 742 guestrooms in the eleven-story and sixteen-story towers of this hotel. All guestrooms offer high-speed Internet access for a surcharge, complimentary premium channels, complimentary newspapers, and coffeemakers.
