Hotel Guide: Lake Tahoe

So you have found yourself in Lake Tahoe? Well, there is no wonder why you are here. Lake Tahoe is the largest, deepest, and highest lake in the United States. Saying which part of Lake Tahoe you are in mainly depends on which state you are currently in. This is due to the fact that Lake Tahoe rests on the border between California and Nevada near Carson City, two-thirds of the shoreline is in California, thus you will most likely be in California during your Lake Tahoe visit. Seeing that you will be in the amazingly beautiful part of the United States, you are going to want to stay in an equally beautiful hotel. So, I have researched and reviewed the top three hotels in Lake Tahoe for your consideration.

The first hotel in which I reviewed is the Harrah’s Lake Tahoe Resort & Casino. This four-star hotel rests directly on Lake Tahoe’s south shore. This hotel features a stone-floored, wood-paneled lobby , outfitted with celebrities pictures who have visited this hotel. Some of the various amenities this hotel offers its guests includes a glass-domed indoor swimming pool and spa tub, as well as a fitness center with sauna and steam room. There is also a full-service spa, Reflections, and it features a range of skin and body treatments. And, of course, there is a twenty-four-hour casino, which offers live entertainment on its center stage. This hotel offers 525 guestrooms in an eighteen-story building. All guestrooms are double-soundproofed, and are in upwards of five-hundred-square-feet. Some of the in-room amenities this hotel offers its guests includes two bathrooms, each with a telephone and television. Wireless Internet access, which is available for a surcharge, and all telephones have voicemail.

The second hotel in which I reviewed is the Marriott Grand Residence Club. This four-star-hotel is outdone in a chalet-style. This hotel was opened in late 2002, and is rested in the posh Heavenly Village at South Lake Tahoe’s main intersection. Some of the various amenities this hotel offers its guests includes retail shops, an ice-skating rink, and a multi-plex movie theater. There is also a large swimming pool and two eight-person spa, which are both opened year-round. This hotel has 199 condo-style units, in three various buildings. Some of the various amenities each room offers includes complimentary wireless Internet access in all guestrooms, CD players, microwaves, DVD players, and voicemail. This hotel is absolutely perfect for those of you who are wanting to feel like you have a condo on the LakeâÂ?¦without having to pay the condo price!

And the last hotel in which I reviewed is the Embassy Suites Hotel Lake Tahoe Resort. This four-star-hotel is an all-suite hotel, which rests against various casinos. This hotel is unique due to its three atriums, which give the hotel a light and airy sensation. Some of the various amenities this hotel offers its guests includes an all-suite selection, indoor gardens and an indoor swimming pool, complimentary breakfasts and an evening manager’s reception, and an eight-person spa. This hotel has 400 guest suites, in its nine-story building. All suites are 550-square-feet, and come with such amenities as two Televisions with pay movies, two phones with voicemail, and Internet access through dial-up service, Web TV, and wireless Interenet access, however, there is a surcharge for all.
