Hotel Guide: Las Vegas, Nevada

So you’ve found yourself in Sin City, the place where dreams are madeâÂ?¦we are talking about non other than Las Vegan, Nevada. This town was built on gambling, and the ability to wow its visitors into staying – and spending more money. Of course, there are hundreds of hotels, spanning from the very over-the-top elaborate, to the elegance of royalty, to the very simplistic. It can become hard to decide which hotel to stay in, however, I have taken the guess work out of choosing a hotel in exciting Las Vegas. Just read on to find the top three hotels in Sin City.

The first hotel in which I reviewed is the Wynn Las Vegas. This aquatic inspired hotel is home to celebrity chefs and wishful thinkers of striking it rich on the strip. The hotel was created by hotel impresario Steve Wynn, and it was reported that the financial budget of this hotel was $2.7 Billion, and it was opened in spring of 2005. The curved building, outlined with bronze-tinted glass, rests on the northern end of the Las Vegas Strip. Guests will enjoy the artificial moutain covered with pines and shining waterfalls at the hotels entrance. The light-engulfed lobby is utterly outfitted in florals, sparkling with millions of different flower variations. Parasols suspended from the ceiling dance up and down in time to music. Some of the hotel amenities include a three-acre lake illuminated by thousands of color-changing lights, which is activated by a multimedia show that encompasses music, light, art, and natural elements. This location is called the Lake of Dreams. There is an outdoor swimming pool which is comprised of a long section with an oval area at the other end, and a bridge spanning the center. This 50-story hotel offers 2,716 extremely spacious guestrooms. Floor-to-celing windows overlook the golf course or the Strip. Also, high-speed Internet access is available in every room for a surcharge. Marble bathrooms feature soaking tubs, separate glass-enclosed showers, flat-screen Tvs, private toilets, two sinks, spa toiletries, and that’s just to name a few of the amenities.

The second hotel in which I reviewed is The Ritz-Carlton Lake Las Vegas. This secluded lakefront retreat rests on a tranquil lake. This Mediterranean-inspired hotel is located on some of the most beautiful shores in the United States, with 10 miles of quite desert shoreline. The Ritz-Carlton is known for their personalized service and daily activities that are all but in full-swing at this particular branch. Some of the amenities include preferred tee times and preferred rates at two championship golf courses. The outdoor lap pool at the Ritz-Carlton offers views of Lake Las Vegas. And at the lake, guests can canoe, kayak, sail, fish, or take a yacht tour – all available for a surcharge. And for you gamblers out there, the hotel offers a 40,000-square-foot casino with slots, video poker, and table games. This hotel is 349 spacious and beautiful guestrooms and suites. All of which come with a choice of lake, mountain, or resort views. Some in-room amenities include minibars, CD players, premium cable channels, and in-room safes that can accommodate laptop computers.

The last hotel in which I reviewed is the Four Seasons Las Vegas. This five-star hotel is located directly on the Las Vegas Strip and is adjacent to the shops, Shark Reefs, and casino at Mandalay Bay. There is literally a plethora of amenities available on-site, including an outdoor pool and spa tub, fitness center, and full-service health spa. Guests can receive poolside services such as chilled towels, misting, and fresh fruit. Those traveling on business can access the business center, conference rooms, and complimentary wireless Internet access in all public areas. There are 338 guestrooms and 86 suites in this Las Vegas hotel. All accommodations include multi-line phones, premium cable channels, and high-speed wired and wireless Internet access, which is available for a surcharge.
