Hotel Guide: Nags Head, North Carolina

So you have found yourself in Nags Head, North Carolina? Well, first off, it is very common to find yourself laughing at the name of this town – but many people aren’t quite familiar with its location. So, to help you understand fully where this city is: if you were to be looking at the state of North Carolina, Nags Hill would be in the mid-upper right side – literally right beside the Atlantic Ocean. Seeing that this city is incredibly beautifully set, with the great ocean as its backdrop, the common visitor to Nags Head is a vacationer. Noting this, Nags Head has so really great hotels for guests to choose from, so, I have reviewed and researched the top three of these hotels for your choosing.

The first hotel in which I reviewed is Ramada Plaza Nags Head Beach. This three-star-hotel is located literally on the beach. It is also only seven miles from the Roanoke Island Festival Park and North Carolina Aquarium. So, this hotels greatest feature, is its location – it’s literally in the middle of all Nags Head has to offer. Some of the various amenities this hotel offers its guests – besides the location – includes, a business center, guest laundry, and an indoor swimming pool and spa tub. This hotel also has free parking for all of its guests. The Ramada Plaza Nags Head Beach has 172 guestrooms in its five-story building. All guestrooms come fully equipped with cable television with pay movies, microwaves, refrigerators, coffeemakers, hair dryers, and an iron with board.

The second hotel in which I reviewed is The Sanderling Resort and Spa. This three-star-hotel rests on the shores of both the Atlantic and Currituck Sound, and is only five miles from the village of Duck and is next to the Pine Island Audubon Sanctuary. Some of the various amenities this hotel has to offer includes both an indoor and outdoor swimming pool, a spa tub, for those of you wanting to stay healthy a fitness center, and a health spa to help guests remain cool and calm while they are on their vacation. Need a larger gym? Guests of The Sanderling can take advantage of complimentary passes to a nearby fitness center. To add a touch of home, this hotel offers daily newspapers in the lobby next to the fireplace, where afternoon tea and cookies can be enjoyed by all guests. This resort and spa has 84 guestrooms and 12 suites – all of which were renovated in 2006. Some of the various amenities you will find in your room includes a 30-inch, high-definition, flat-screen television with premium cable channels, complimentary wireless Internet access, in-room safes, and refrigerators.

And the last hotel in which I reviewed is the Sea Ranch. This hotel is located on the outer banks of North Carolina and is only one mile from the Wright Brother Memorial, and is also only fourteen miles from the famed aquarium. Some of the various amenities this hotel offers all of its guests includes an indoor swimming pool, complimentary parking, and a restaurant. The Sea Ranch has 50 guestrooms, all of which come fully equipped with a microwave, refrigerator, and coffeemaker. All oceanfront rooms feature a glass-enclosed balcony, which overlooks the majestic ocean. This hotel is absolutely perfect for those of you who are wanting to really enjoy the ocean.
