Hotel Guide: New Haven, Connecticut
The first hotel in which I reviewed is the Omni New Haven Hotel at Yale. This four-star hotel is only two blocks from Yale University’s campus. The Omni’s elegant lobby is appointed with marble floors, cherry-wood pillars, and updated traditional furnishings. One of the great features of this hotel is that is obtains a library just off of the main lobby area. Many of the guests of this hotel include Yale visitors, weekenders taking in a show at one of the city’s renowned theaters, and businesspeople visiting nearby offices. Some of the hotels amenities include complimentary wireless Internet access throughout the lobby and guestrooms, a business center which is open 24-hours-a-day, which includes computers with complimentary high-speed Internet access. This 19-story hotel has 306 guestrooms, all with complimentary wireless Internet access. Some of the other in-room amenities include televisions with pay movies and premium channels, as well as some of the rooms have views of the Long Island Sound or Yale campus.
The second hotel in which I reviewed is the Best Western Executive Hotel. This hotel is only two miles from the West Haven Boardwalk as well as the beach. And this hotel has an excellent location as it is only three miles from Yale University. Some of the other amenities this hotel includes is complimentary high-speed Internet access in its business center, an indoor swimming pool and a fitness center. This hotel also features a restaurant and lounge. This seven-story hotel has 100 guestrooms, some in-room amenities include complimentary high-speed Internet access and local calls. Rooms also offer microwaves, refrigerators, and coffeemakers.
And the last hotel in which I reviewed is the Three Chimneys Inn at Yale. This historic hotel was built in 1870 and was originally a mansion. If it is location you want, location you will get.
