Hotel Guide: Omaha, Nebraska

So you’ve found yourself in Omaha, Nebraska? Well, its to no surprise, seeing that Omaha is the largest city in the state of Nebraska. This city is located on the eastern edge of the state, located on the Missouri River. This city is has been the passing place for many different generations. It stated with the Omaha tribe, which migrated north, then there was the famed Lewis and Clark Expedition in which they passed by the riverbanks of the aforementioned city of Omaha. Later in 1846 through 1848 Omaha was the home of The Mormons, which resided in this place before resuming their westward migration. Well, seeing that this city has been one of many passing, it is no wonder that you have found yourself here. So, I have researched and reviewed the top three hotels in which you can choose from.

The first hotel in which I researched is the Hilton Omaha. This four-star hotel is only half-a-mile from Old Market, and is only five miles from the Rosenblatt Stadium and Doorly Zoo. Some of the various amenities this hotel offers its guests includes complimentary airport transportation, high-speed wired and wireless Internet access, which is available for a surcharge. This hotel also has a business center, a ballroom, and exhibit space for guests use. There is also exercise equipment, a sauna, a spa tub, and an indoor swimming pool, all of which are on site. This hotel has 450 guestrooms, in its eight-stories. Some of the various in-room amenities includes high-speed wireless and wired Internet access, which comes with a surcharge, multi-line phones, pay movies, minibars, cable television with premium channels, and complimentary newspapers.

The second hotel in which I reviewed is the Sheraton Omaha Hotel. This three-and-a-half-star hotel is located within four blocks of the Old Market and lies within the financial district. This hotel’s courtyard is where you will find visitors relaxing by its graceful columns, and its tranquil fountain. There is an on-site health club, which is opened twenty-four-hours-a-day. Wireless Internet access is available in the lobby of the hotel for a surcharge. The Sheraton Omaha Hotel provides complimentary airport transportation and complimentary shuttle service within the surrounding area. This hotel has 145 guestrooms. This hotel offers its guestrooms high-speed Internet access for a surcharge, desks, coffeemakers, hair dryers, phones with voicemail, cable television with pay movies and complimentary Showtime. One great feature, is that pets are allowed in the guestrooms, with no additional deposit or fee required.

And the last hotel in which I reviewed is the Embassy Suites Hotel Omaha. This three-and-a-half-star hotel is located in Omaha’s historic Old Market district, and is only a half-mile from the Orpheum Theater. Guests traveling on business can access the twenty-four-hour business center, meeting rooms, and complimentary wireless Internet access in public areas. This hotel also offers other amenities such as an indoor swimming pool and spa tub, a fitness center with sauna and steam room, as well as complimentary airport transportation. There are 249 guest suites which are located on the hotels seven-floors. Some of the various amenities includes two phones with voicemail, premium cable channels, and TV high-speed Internet access.
