Hotel Guide: Santa Fe, New Mexico
The first hotel in which I reviewed is the Hyatt Regency Tamaya Resort and Spa. This four-and-a-half-star hotel is a true gem among the hot deserts that make up New Mexico, an oasis of luxury. This hotel has beautiful mountain views, and is outdone in a Native American flavor. When guests enter the lobby of this hotel they are greeted by two fireplaces, leather couches, wooden ceiling beams, and adobe-style walls. This hotel is located on 500 acres of Santa Ana Pueblo land along the Rio Grand. This resort is popular with older leisure travelers, families, and guests who are attending on-site conferences. Some of the various amenities this hotel has includes an 18-hole golf course, which is available for use for a surcharge, three outdoor swimming pools, riding stables for a surcharge, tennis courts, and a health spa. This hotel has 350 guestrooms, all of which have Southwestern d©cor. Some of the amenities includes refrigerators, coffeemakers, complimentary premium channels, and high-speed Internet access is available for a surcharge.
The second hotel in which I reviewed is the Eldorado Hotel & Spa. This solid four-star hotel resonates with the southwestern feel that visitors long for when coming to New Mexico. This hotel has a spacious lobby with folk art and American Indian artifacts, as well as a smooth contemporary Southwestern decorations. Some of the amenities this hotel offers its guests includes on-site shopping, a business center with copiers, scanners, computers and printers, as well as a secretarial service and cellular phone rental. There is a small outdoor swimming pool off of the fitness center. This hotel has 219 guestrooms, which feature high-speed Internet access for a surcharge, terrycloth robes and slippers, in-room safes, and in-room movies.
And the last hotel which I reviewed is the La Posada De Santa Fe Resort. This four-star hotel is a pleasant mix of Victorian past and Santa Fe adobe architecture. The resorts centerpiece is a Victorian mansion that was built by an Old Santa Fe trail merchant. Some of the amenities this hotel offers its guests includes a full-service heal spa, a fitness center, heated outdoor swimming pools, a spa tub, as well as a complimentary shuttle service within a two-and-a-half-mile radius of the hotel. Guests can also enjoy a complimentary wine tasting event, a make-a-margarita program and samplings, just to name a few. This resort has 157 guestrooms, each unit is actually different from each other. Some rooms have round beams to the ceiling, and others have square. Some of the various amenities every room offers includes complimentary bottled water, CD players, and complimentary wireless Internet access.
