Hotel Guide: Savannah, Georgia

So you’ve found yourself in the tranquil city of Savannah, Georgia. So underneath the moss covered trees, you’re wanting to relax and be swept away into a place of what dreams are made of. Well, this dreamlike state is not only bound to the trees and valleys of this town, it is also found in the hotels that outline this perfect portrait of township. So, I have researched and reviewed the top three hotels of this absolutely amazing town for your consideration. So sit back and relax as you read on and find your absolutely perfect hotel.

The first hotel in which I reviewed is the Mansion On Forsyth Park. This four-and-a-half-star hotel rests directly in historic downtown Savannah, which offers the best of fine dining and sights. This hotel was first a mansion and was built in 1888 in a Victorian-Romanesque style, and faces historic Forsyth Park, which is one of Savannah’s most beloved parks. Some of the various amenities this hotel offers its guests includes wireless Internet access in the lobby as well as in all public spaces. This hotel has 126 guestrooms, which are all very spacious and decorated in beautiful dÃ?©cor that takes guests back to a time of centuries gone by. All rooms have 27-inch Television and Bose CD sound systems. Also, rooms come with complimentary wireless Internet access, and all local calls are free. Probably one of the greatest amenities the hotel has, is all in-room coffeemakers brew Starbucks coffee.

The second hotel in which I reviewed is The Gastonian. This hotel is entirely nonsmoking, and is situated in Savannah’s historic district, and offers complimentary wireless Internet in al all public spaces. This hotel was built in 1870 and is a boutique hotel that rests within four-blocks of Forsyth Park and River Street. Some of the amenities this hotel offers its guests includes cooked-to-order breakfasts, wine receptions, and afternoon teas which are all provided complimentary each day. This three-story-hotel offers 17 guestrooms, which are all outfitted in antique furniture, a jetted tub, and fireplace. Some of the various in-room amenities include cable TV with premium channels, DVD players, complimentary newspapers, bottled water and complimentary wireless Internet access.

And the last hotel in which I reviewed is the Hyatt Regency Savannah. This three-and-a-half-star hotel rests in historic downtown Savannah, and rests directly on the water. This seven-story hotel is adjacent to City Hall and the Riverfront Plaza. An expansive atrium lobby with glass elevators welcomes business and leisure travelers. Some of the various amenities this hotel offers its guests includes an indoor splash pool and a small fitness center. Guests of this hotel also receives complimentary access to a health club one block away. This hotel has 351 nonsmoking guestrooms, all of which feature Hyatt Grand Beds with pillow-top mattresses. Some of the various in-room amenities include high-speed wireless Internet access for a surcharge, complimentary premium channels, and all of the bathrooms have marble vanities and Portico bath products.
