Hotel Guide: Youngstown, Ohio

So you’ve found yourself in Youngstown, Ohio? This city is located on the Mahoning River, and is literally in the middle of Cleveland, Ohio and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. It’s grandeur has changed little since the early twentieth-century, thus, most of the buildings and attractions are rich with history. And this history does not stop just with its buildings, oh no, it continues throughout its entire city, including its hotels. There are plenty of hotels to choose from, all of which have their strong points, however, I have researched and reviewed the top three of these hotels for potential guests. Make sure you choose the hotel that is right for you!

The first hotel in which I reviewed is the Country Inn Suites Youngstown West. This three-star-hotel is located just off of I-80, and is centrally located to all other major attractions. Some of the various amenities this hotel offers its guests includes an indoor swimming pool, a spa tub, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, fitness equipment, fax machines, and a business center. This hotel is comprised of 63 suites, all of which are fully equipped for a comfortable stay. Some of the various in-room amenities guests can use includes complimentary local calls, complimentary high-speed Internet access, as well as a kitchenette with a microwave.

The second hotel in which I reviewed is the Hampton Inn & Suites Youngstown. This three-star-hotel is located just one mile from downtown Canfield, and is only eight miles from Youngstown State University. Some of the various amenities this hotel offers its guests includes an on-site business center, which consists of fax and copy machines, printers, and a computer with complimentary high-speed Internet access. There is also complimentary wireless Internet access available in the lobby, and an indoor swimming pool and fitness center. This hotel is comprised of 77 suites and 24 guestrooms. All of the rooms include complimentary high-speed Internet access and complimentary local calls, as well as cable television with complimentary HBO and pay movies.

And the last hotel in which I reviewed is the Super 8 Motel. This two-star-hotel is located only four miles from the Youngstown State University campus, and the Powers Auditorium. Some of the various amenities this hotel offers its guests includes a complimentary Continental breakfast, which is served daily, copy and fax machines, as well as complimentary self-parking. This hotel is comprised of 51 guestrooms, all of which come with dial-up Internet access, complimentary local calls, and cable television with complimentary HBO.
