Next sprinkle baking soda liberally onto the sides of your toilet bowl, the flushing creates a wet surface which makes it easier for the baking soda to stick to the sides of the bowl, and allow to sit for a few minutes. Next spray a solution of vinegar and water around the exterior parts of your toilet bowl and wipe clean with a sponge. Once the outside of your bowl is clean you can begin to scrub the inside of the bowl with your toilet brush. Once the toilet has received a good scrubbing flush the toilet and you are done.
To clean the tiny crevices of your toilet bowl, such as around the hinges of your toilet lid, you will want to use baking soda and a tooth brush. Soak the tooth brush with some water before scrubbing the crevices of your toilet to allow the baking soda to form a cleaning paste. Sprinkle the baking soda over the crevices and begin scrubbing with your tooth brush. The tiny bristles on a tooth brush make it easier to clean areas, such as the tiny crevices on your toilet, a job that an ordinary sponge could not handle.
