How to Recycle You Old Toothbrush
Baby Bottles
If you have a child you know how hard these bottles are to clean. The bottles that have an angle to them are the worst. The rings can get stuff in them and your hand is not fitting in them to get them clean. They do sell bottle brushes but they sometimes don’t even help. You can soke them in hydrogen peroxide to kill any germs that may be on the toothbrush. If you would like the toothbrush to have a slight angle you can make that happen. Place the toothbrush over a small flame like a candle and heat the toothbrush and slightly bend until its the angel you would like. Let cool and it will stay that shape.
Bracelets
If you have plan flat tooth brushes you can make these stylist bracelets. Different color toothbrushes will give you different bracelets. Boil the toothbrushes for a few minutes and use a pair of pliers to pull out all the bristles. Boiling them will make it easier to pull out. Then boil the handle a bit longer and mold it around a can or something near your wrist size. Then let cool for a few minutes. When its cooler you can place on your hand and finish molding it to size.
Cleaning
I always have a few of these handy for cleaning reason. I take a permanent marker and Mark a big X on them so no one thinks its theirs. They work great for cleaning around the sink faucets, cleaning shoes and any other area that’s to small for normal brushes to reach.
Clothes
Do you have a stain on a shirt that you can’t bleach. You can use a small amount of bleach on the toothbrush and then rub out the stain. Children’s toothbrushes are very good for this, because you can reach a smaller area then you could with an adult toothbrush. You should be careful and not go to fast so you don’t splatter your colored shirt with bleach. This works great for baby clothes. A lot of baby clothes has that white ring around the neck that always seems to get dingy looking. Using the toothbrush on this area will work out great.
