Keane Celebrates 10 Years of a Successful Career

The Best of Keane was released this week, It is the first compilation album released by the band come from East Sussex, England through Island Records.

The compilation was announced on 16 August of this year, in the official website of the band. The purpose of this compilation is commemorate the first years of Keane’s career, which began in 2003 when they released their first commercial single “Everybody’s Changing” with Fierce Panda Record.

The album contains 18 fan favorites track, alongside with two new song “Won’t be Broken” and “Higher Than the Sun”, the latter was chosen and released on 28 September as promotional single. This greatest hits collection is a review of Keane’s history through their more successful song from their four studio albums and one extended play, that allow understand how their music style has been evolving for 10 years.

The Best of Keane comes in three different physical format: The standard edition that is a single disc with 20 songs, the deluxe edition that include a second disc with single B-sides collection with one previously-unreleased song “Russian Farmer’s Song”, and the super deluxe edition that contain 2 disc, one DVD with a special acoustic performance of the band, and a book with images of the band through their career.

In sum, this greatest hits album is a reminder to all Keane’s fans of why they love the music of the band, and why Keane is one of most successful band in music industry.
