Keeping the Scent of Fresh Lavender in Your House Can Help to Reduce Stress
Many people like the smell of some type of fresh scents in their home, but one that is especially healthy to have in your home is an herb called Lavender. One big thing that this does is help to reduce stress. If you have notices they are even using lavender in a lot of bath soaps and even in baby soap and lotion. Some people chose to grow their own lavender in their yard, and others just like to buy products that have lavender in it. Obviously if you take the time to grow your own lavender then you will always have it available.
But there are also many scented oils, and one of the most popular lavender scented candles. Getting lavender flowers, lotion, or even candles is very inexpensive. Even doctors have confirmed that fact that keeping fresh lavender in your home helps to reduce the stress level of everyone in that home. It even helps those who have a difficult time sleeping.
Making your own lavender is not that difficult to do, but it is very time consuming, so unless you have a lot of time on your hands you may want to choose a different method to get the smell of lavender in your home. One thing that you don’t want to do use too much lavender. If this happens that the nice soothing fragrance that you wanted, is suddenly transformed into a very annoying scent, and may even irritate you.
In my personal experience I have found that just having a few lavender flowers around the house gives the house a very subtle scent. Also using lavender body wash on your kids helps them to relax before bedtime. I would however recommend against getting any type of lavender spray for your home.
These sometimes have additional oils and herbs added to them, and they do not have the same affect as natural lavender. Just make sure that you take the time to read everything thoroughly before you use it. Check the ingredients and if it does not say one hundred percent lavender then you may want to investigate the other chemicals that were added to it.
