LG LDF9810 Dishwasher: An Elegant Stainless Steel Washer
Not only does it look fantastic but it does a great job washing the dishes. Thanks to its robust size it doesn’t come with just the standard 2 level washing racks; they manage to incorporate 3 levels without clutter. These racks can easily accommodating pots and pans without too much fuss. The racks are serviced by their own individual washing arm making sure that the dishes on the top get just as clean as the dishes on the bottom. The easy to use controls include a number of different features and wash cycles depending on the size of the load and condition of the dishes. One cycle conserves water and incorporates steam to gently clean the dishes. This steam cleaning option in my experience is a brilliant idea but not as effective as the traditional cycles. I would reserve this for cleaning cups / bowls etc. the steam cycle won’t come close to touching that casserole dish. In my opinion the best characteristic about this washer is something that isn’t very tangible when you look at its specifications; it’s quiet. For someone whose kitchen is open to their living room like myself, this washer is a dream. Unless you’re standing right beside it you won’t even know its operating. So go ahead, turn on that washer and watch some TV uninterrupted.
This washer looks great and performs at a high level. The price unfortunately puts it in the high end category. Currently priced around $1400, this washer isn’t exactly a steal. Having just come out not too long ago I wouldn’t hold my breath for price reductions on this model, so if you have fallen in love with it go ahead and buy one.
