Lasko Remote Control Tower Heater: A Great Way to Heat Small Spaces
The great thing about the Lasko Tower Heater is that it has a nice, sleek, black and silver design that blends well with most furnishings and fits into any corner of your home. When visitors drop by, most of them never realize that I’m running a space heater, and those that do are always awestruck.
The Lasko Remote Control Tower Heater has a left to right oscillating feature that enables the heat to circulate evenly throughout the room.
Controlling the intensity of the heater’s flow is easy to do with the high/low comfort settings (1500w/900w). I use the high setting for large rooms that are drafty, and the low setting for smaller rooms.
The heater has a digital display that allows you to see the present room temperature and it also allows you to easily adjust the unit to the desired temperature without the guesswork.
The multifunction remote control requires two AAA batteries. It has settings that allow you to turn the space heater off and on, increase and decrease the temperature, and set the automatic temperature control and timer without leaving the comfort of your seat.
I didn’t like the fact that the Lasko Remote Control Ceramic Tower Heater is not equipped with a feature that will automatically shut off if it is knocked over. So I am only able to use it in rooms that my children or dogs don’t frequent. The heater does however, shut-off if it overheats.
The heater is really quiet and never interferes with the sound of my television, radio or phone conversations. Most of the time, I don’t even realize that it’s running.
If children or pets are allowed to sit too close to the Lasko Ceramic Tower Heater, it can cause serious burns. I also recommend that you don’t place the heater near clothing or anything else that may easily ignite.
The price was not too over the top. $45.00 was a bargain considering the amount of use that I’m getting out of it. I have owned quite a few space heaters over the past eight years and I have found that the Lasko Remote Control Tower Heater is a durable and efficient way to heat my home.
After two years of using The Lasko Ceramic Tower Heater, It’s still going strong and I can honestly say that I love it.
