Have the students cut out the different stages of the life cycle pictures and put them in the correct order
After the students have put the pictures in correct order staple them to create a book
Allow the students to color their book
Give each student the bean plants grow from seeds ditto
Allow the students to color their ditto
In the middle of the ditto the students need to write 3 words that describe a bean plant
This ditto is used to help students understand the life cycle of bean plants
The ditto requires students to fold the paper different ways to create the different stages of the life cycle

IV. Assessment
I will assess my student in two ways during this lesson. The first way that I will assess my students is by having them correctly construct the life cycle of bean plants using a ditto. The students will need to assemble a book using the stages of the life cycle. The book has 6 pages that will be assembled and labeled. The second way that I will assess my students is by having them write 3 words that describe a bean plant. The students will write their 3 describing words on their bean plants grow from seed ditto.

V. Modifications
For my high level students I will have them complete a different life cycle activity. Instead, of completing the ditto that requires students to color and assemble a book I will have my high level students illustrate and label the different stages of the life cycle of bean plants using construction paper. The students will need to illustrate and label the different stages on construction paper using markers and crayons.

For my low level students I will allow them to work in partners to complete a booklet illustrating the life cycle of bean plants. I will assign a specific job for each student. One student will be required to draw the illustrations while the other student will be responsible for writing the different life cycles.
