Life is a Gift from Heaven
In reality everyone needs love, but why do they need love? What is love? The Latin poet Publius Vergilius (known as one of the most influential Roman authors) had stated in one of his works (Virgil), “Love conquers all.” Additionally, love is god, love is beauty, love is divine, love is invincible, love is peace, love is integrity, and most importantly love embellishes life. The adage, “Don’t judge a book by its cover” enhances this concept massively. Likewise, exquisiteness is found deep down inside, within the soul. Consequently, when someone dear to you is gloomy in the event of plights, pacifying them and exhibiting a sign of assurance that everything’s going to be fine is the first thing that comes to your mind. In addition, it makes you feel as if a part of you has gone missing, so love is incredulously everlasting. As a whole, you have to respect love to make your presence on earth worth while.
Regardless of all the pleasing things, life takes a toll on you when people start taunting, and that’s when you wish to escape from yourself. Thus, you start to look for a source which emanates serenity, diverts your mind and makes you forget what’s going on. As an antidote, what each person does differs; it depends upon the individual to what they’re inclined to find calmness in. In tense situations some people become alcoholics, workaholics or even delinquents. Hence, all of those things alleviate their sorrows, and become their comfort zone. In my point of view, all of these so called remedies are not going to solve the problem. They will definitely stall the issue from worsening for a while, but eventually the obstacles have to be overcome. Ultimately, you’re the only one that can solve the problem better than anyone else.
In fact everyone does need you, but at this point you start having conflicts in your mind and start to think what’s in store for you. There is a phase when you lack self-esteem and feel that you’re useless, but in retrospect your qualities start to create a framework in your mind. Every moment is excruciating, and there are times when the people that are close to you give you incentives which encourage you to persevere, no matter what comes your way. Furthermore, some of the things confined in your mind are illusive. There comes a time when you think that maybe your parents are the best people you can go to for advice but then there is that generation gap and a feeling tells you to disagree with your instincts, because it’ll aggravate the scenario. In these situations it is very likely for anyone to get a notion depicting that something precious is hidden which is yet to transpire.
Life is at times immensely confusing and becomes hard to lead, but it is also true that youngsters believe that people misunderstand them and that’s when they start demeaning themselves. Moreover that undermines their ability to feel, and they start having apathy for everything, but eventually the thoughts which pursue self-respect prevail. In spite of that, the imposing voice inside that implies you to abruptly inform anyone that interferes not to expect anything, remains. Consequently, this horrible feeling grows within, and you don’t understand what’s going on. The awareness of something not being right takes its course and then the pettiest things which have no relevance at all, infuriate you. In this case, some people start getting delusions because of their severe sensitivity. Mental stress is much worse than physical stress. Physical stress can be alleviated, but it is very difficult for some people to subdue their apprehensions. That mental stress gnaws at them from the inside making it agonizing. Apparently, the things that they do are unintentional and impulsive, but these people can be perceptive and proficient in specific fields. Surprisingly, their usual abilities hide the unseen incompetence which resides in other areas.
The ideal way to get rid of obnoxious and unwanted notions is to look at your reflection in the mirror, smile, and compliment yourself. That helps to boost confidence in one’s self, and is an effective therapy. Furthermore, according to me, occupying yourself in doing what you’re passionate about, acts as a motivational tool. Despite all of that, there are times when you want to be reclusive for a while. As a matter of fact, you don’t want to hurt anyone but inadvertently want everyone to forget you, and leave you alone. You are aware that your behavior happens to portray selfishness and malevolence, but when people still like you regardless of your hostility that makes you pensive. Then you realize that it’s your own self who has been anticipating the wrong things from the beginning. Sometimes the people around you are the ones that try to appease you by using different methods, to make you discern between the immorality that’s in your mind and the reality which illustrates the wonderful human being you truly are. “Life is not measured by the number of breaths you take but by the number of moments that take your breath away” is a saying which is very true if you come to think of it!
Even the people who are deprived of the basic aspects of life continue their journey with dignity, and that is most definitely respectable. Those tiny entities prove that you have to be happy with what you have, instead of craving for what you don’t have, because the day you will lose something precious to you is when you’ll realize the true value of things. Moreover, the completeness of the underprivileged is what you look up to and is inspirational. So remember that no one is too big or too small in this world, because all of us have the right to do whatever we can to enhance the future of it. This excerpt from one of Joan Boreysenko’s (Ph.D.) works “The question is not whether we will die, but how we will live” is a perfect implication. You should never feel deprived of anything because life is too short for you to feel that way. As Henri Frederic Amiel’s motivational quote replicates, “Life is short. Be swift to love! Make haste to be kind!”
The famous adage “The grass is always greener on the other side” explains that each individual always thinks that the opposite person is happier than them. Most people want the easy way out and start to believe that everyone is not the same and aren’t capable of doing the same things, but one thing which all of us can do is to decisively continue doing what we’re best at with compassion, integrity and poise. Most importantly that’ll be a stepping stone towards the world’s welfare as well as our own. Everyone wants everything to happen at the click of their fingers, but that’s not going to happen because this is the real world in which you have to face things one day at a time and constantly build up immense patience. Always help others as their smile will make you feel complacent. On the contrary, don’t be intimidated by negative remarks; just have faith, in god, the people around you, and of course yourself. You have been sent to this world full of scope for a reason, so set aside the grievances and strive to become one of the mascots of this world by leaving a memorable mark on it.
