Lime A Way: Strong Product that Cleans Up Those Rusty Toilet Bowl Stains and More
I found the perfect solution, Lime A Way Toilet Bowl Cleaner is a Lime, Calcium & Rust Stain Remover. It comes in a bright lime (of course) bottle with a tab top. My particular bottle contained the thicker version which I much preferred since it clings to the toilet bowl surfaces It effectively removes the heavy hard water deposit build up.
You can clean coffee makers as well if you dilute the product eight parts water/one part Lime A Way. You brew this solution through the coffee maker than discard. You then run clear water cycles through your coffee maker at least three times.
To clean your washing machine you fill your washer with hot water, add a cap full of Lime A Way and run it through its cycle. You may have to repeat this if you have really stubborn build up.
You cannot use Lime A Way on marble, stone, terrazzo, copper, unpolished brass or anodized aluminum, metallic glazed or painted surfaces, colored grout or counter tops. It also may etch your porcelain if it’s very old. Avoid contact with wallpaper,fabric and wood. In other words test on a small are before using. Another do not is that it’s not to be mixed with other household products or mix with bleach.Be sure to wear gloves when working with this product. It contains sulfuric acid. If this gets in your eyes or skin flush the area with water and if swallowed DO NOT induce vomiting. Be sure to use this in a well ventilated area. Get medical attention if you do get this in your eyes or on your skin. This product is not tested on animals and is made by Reckitt Benckiser a well known company in America and in the United Kingdom.

All this said I have to tell you if used properly it is a fabulous product that works beautifully on toilets. You can clean shower heads, out door sprinklers and watering cans.
It has a toggle dispenser though I have also seen it with the child proof squeeze and turn cap which is definitely better and safer.
I try to keep a bottle or two in my home always and highly recommend it for house flippers, gardeners, and anyone with hard water problems.
It runs about $2.75 for 28 oz and is available in hardware stores, grocery stores and Wal Mart, K Mart and Target as well.
