Making a New Year’s Resolution
New Years is almost here and some epopel are already planning on a New Year resolution. One we all seem to break and not stick to it. It is about sticking to a new goal in your life and sticking to it. I sure have made many goals and have broken them. I live day by day and just do my own thing. I keep telling myself every year that I will save more money or get into shape but I seem to give myself excuses. The most popular and common resolutions people make are:
To make more money by either getting a new job or another job
Cut back on smoking or either quitting it
Getting into shape or joining a gym
Make time for themselves
To spend more time with a loved one or friends
Get back into school
Make a healthy lifestyle
What happens at the stroke of midnight is we all watch the ball drop on tv. It is so much fun I do it every year even when I didn’t have a loved one. When the ball drops it is new Years and we give our loved one a kiss. If there is a mistletoe in your home place it near your tv. This way you can’t forget that special minute. It is a traditon many people do when the ball drops we kiss our loved one. If you do not have a loved one give your friends or family members a hug and kiss on cheek. That way they know you love them. It would be great if you could get to New York they have millions of people there to watch the ball drop.
If you know you can’t keep your New Year’s resolution than do not make them. If you make them stick to them and do not let excuses get in the way. All you have to do is change a little bit of your lifestyle or thinking of your life. You can’t make a resolution for someone else only your own. Make a list of what you would want to change in your life or want to accomplish in your life. Do not make anything to big of a deal. Make small attempts on doing them. Do not write down huge changes.
