The Wilma Theater is a Missoula landmark. Not only is it one of the tallest buildings in Western Montana, but it also has one of the most unique histories. The Carmike Cinema 10 is located in the northwest corner of Missoula near the new shopping district known as the Northgate Shopping District. Here you will find Target, Linens and Things, Denver Mattress Warehouse, shoe stores, clothing stores, warehouse clubs, and restaurants all within walking distance. There is plenty of parking available at this movie theater, and because it is the newest movie theater in Missoula, it offers the amenities that most larger city theaters offer like surround sound, and digital imaging. The Village 6 has been serving Missoula for decades and it is located in the southwest corner of Missoula. It is located near shopping K-Mart, Big Lots, grocery stores, casinos, and even golf courses. The theater has six inner theaters and plays first run movies. This theater also plays older blockbusters after they have been bumped from the Cine 10 line up. The Roxy Theatre is home to the International Wildlife Film Festival and Media Center, and is open Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., except for holidays when they are closed. The Rocky offers several film options throughout the week and special events throughout the year. Wild Wednesday Matinees for Kids play Wednesday afternoons at 1:00 p.m. These wildlife films are aimed at children and will be both educational and entertaining.
