And on the subject of insurance, make sure they have adequate coverage. Get everything in writing, How are they going to wrap the furniture? What size truck are they going to use? How many men are going to be working and very importantly, what time are they going to arrive?
Don’t be afraid to have someone by the truck watching everything they do either and have them sign off on just what went on the truck. It is your money, you have the right to call the shots.
