My Eastsport Backpack is Indispensable
I first bought my Eastsport backpack when I first started college upon moving to the Northwest. I was a new student and I noticed that many other students were using backpacks. Very rarely did I see someone carrying a book. Mostly, hands were free to ease the walking. There are many walkers on campuses, too. So, I went to Wal-Mart and checked out the backpacks. My Eastsport backpack seemed to offer the most for the best price.
My Eastsport backpack makes my life so much easier. I do not have to cart around heavy objects with one arm. Nor do I need to strain my back while carrying things. I simply put my needed items in my Eastsport backpack and travel away. There is ample room in my Eastsport backpack for many items. I like that.
One feature my Eastsport backpack has are compartments of various sizes. This makes it easy to store and carry many items. For instance, there is one small compartment for pens and pencils. The same general area finds room for a cell phone. The combined writing utensils and cell phone area is enclosed by a Velcro secured flap. This flap contains an embroidered Eastsport Outdoor Company label. The name flap is very attractive and easy to read. The gold embroidered thread stands out against the navy backpack fabric.
The next larger compartment is a zippered compartment. Here there is room for items that I feel need securing. I put my checkbook, money, personal information in this part of my Eastsport backpack. My handheld calculator also fits well in here.
Behind this compartment is an even larger compartment that is also zippered. This compartment is similar to a purse. It contains credit card compartments, a zippered mesh compartment, and an open pocket. There is plenty of room in this area of my Eastsport backpack.
Finally, there are two zippered compartments the diameter size of my Eastsport backpack. These compartments are great for books, folders, etc. They also contain ample room for clothing items. I like to carry a rolled up rain poncho in here.
The main body of my Eastsport backpack is made of durable, waterproof material. It is similar to a cotton duck cloth-type material. The entire bottom has a layer of rainproof material (similar to nylon) with two ‘legs’ attached. What is really nice about the bottom of my Eastsport backpack is the fact that I do not have to worry about anything getting wet. That is a very comforting feeling knowing the amount of paper I carry around.
Plus, my Eastsport backpack is easy to clean. I just take a damp cloth to the affected area. How easy is that?
Double stitching is found throughout my Eastsport backpack. This is a sure sign of top quality workmanship. I like that a lot.
Another feature of my Eastsport backpack is the fact that the navy material is highlighted by spatterings of tan-colored suede. There are suede pieces on the edge of each zipper handle. Plus, there is a patch of tan-colored suede covered the top portion of the larger secured zippered compartment. It is very eye appealing.
My Eastsport backpack has a heavy canvas-carrying strap, if needed. It is located in the center of the back compartment. On each side of the canvas strap, there is a padded shoulder strap. These shoulder straps are simply the best. They are very comfortable and secure. The combination of these straps is one of the reasons I enjoy my Eastsport backpack so much.
The padded shoulder straps are attached to the bottom end of my Eastsport backpack with an adjustable strap. This adjustable strap allows me to change the length of the shoulder strap. So, my Eastsport backpack has adjustable padded shoulder straps. That is a very, very nice feature.
What originally attracted me to the Eastsport backpack was the price. It is a very affordable backpack for everything it offers. I was in the market for a basic backpack. I was not planning on mountain climbing. I just wanted a backpack to carry items to and from work. I have a basic, yet durable, backpack in my Eastsport backpack.
My Eastsport school backpack also comes in handy when I am going to the gym. I simply pack it like an overnight bag. As a gym bag, it works out just great! I carry my gym clothes in it. It is easy to fit into lockers. When I am done with my workout, I simpy carry my dirty clothes in my Eastsport backpack until I can clean them.
I cannot think of any drawbacks regarding my Eastsport backpack. I find it simply wonderful. It suits me perfectly.
I love my Eastsport backpack. I highly recommend it to anyone in the market for a durable, yet low cost, school backpack.
