Natural Homemade Cleaner for a Glass Stove Top
Necessary Supplies
To make natural homemade cleaner for a glass stove top you will need a fresh box of baking soda, dishwashing liquid that contains grease removers, a soft absorbent sponge or cloth and very warm water. Nothing else is needed for natural homemade cleaner to scrub and shine a glass stove top. Abrasives should never be used. Baking soda is a very mild product that will work to remove cooked on food, and it will not scratch. It is also completely natural, and it is far cheaper than special cleaning creams. I no longer have a glass stove top, but if I ever have one again, I will not use anything but natural homemade cleaner.
Procedure
Begin by filling the kitchen sink with hot soapy water. Dampen the sponge or soft cloth, and ring it out. Dampen the glass stove top with the soapy mixture. Generously sprinkle the dampened glass stove top with baking soda. Allow the baking soda to soak into the cooked on mess for about 15 minutes. Wet the rag or sponge with the hot soapy water again, and be sure to ring it out. Clean and shine the glass stove top using circular motions. Add more baking soda as necessary, and always dampen it with water before rubbing and scrubbing. The homemade natural cleanser should work beautifully. Simple rinse it away with a clean damp cloth, and buff it to a brilliant shine with a clean soft towel.
A Handy Tip for Storing Natural Dry Cleaning Products
Baking soda boxes are not designed for sprinkling. More often than not, too much comes out along with a few unwanted lumps and clumps. Save parmesan cheese bottles with twist tops for storing and using homemade cleaner. Label the bottles to indicate what they contain, and keep your homemade natural cleaner in a handy tote.
Do away with chemical products for cleaning your home, and make it a chemical free zone for the health and safety of your family and the environment. You will save money in the process, and your glass stove top will be sparkling clean and shiny. Chemical cleaners are not usually necessary, especially since cheaper natural alternatives work just as well.
