Nature

There you are! I see you sitting on a rock
Eating a pear, as the wind blows through your hair.
The long strands wave into your face, as your frock
Rides gently up in the breeze, your body shaped like a pear.

Sitting under the tree, you sat there happy,
Watching the leaves fall to the ground, rustling and
Swirling by the wind. The tree’s bark runs sappy.
The sound of the branches from the trees and leaves makes a band.

Many birds sing in the clear, blue morning sky.
As a few white, bright clouds float on by from the updrift air.
As your eyes watched the white specks, your blue eyes shy
Away from the bright sun to fall onto another pair.

Now that you are gone. My memories are here
That I cannot deny. You are in my mind there.
