New Houston-area Restaurant Seeks Local Bands to Draw in Business
Looking for something new and fun to do this month? Come on in to Route 66 Classic Cafe and check out the new local hang-out with a vintage 50’s look. This place has 2 stories, 2 bars, 2 stages and too many things to look at. It is decked out with rockabilly style artwork and even has a classic Porsche you can sit and eat in! The food is great and the atmosphere is even better.
Route 66 features a free show every Saturday night that has live music ranging from jazz to country and from rockabilly to blues. Monday nights is the cafe’s industry night, and they are open until 2 A.M. with drink specials all night. Thursday nights feature karaoke where you can have fun and sing along to your favorite songs with some friends. Friday nights are swing nights and the bottom half of the restaurant is turned into a dance floor where you can come and swing the night away. There is always something going on at the new Route 66 pretty much any day of the week.
On March 31st a houston-based musician Sean Reefer and the Resin Valley Boys will be making an appearance and playing a free show. This is something you don’t want to miss. Come and See how a local shakes up the country scene and puts his own flavor to a classic style of music.
