Poem – The Pregnancy Dilemma

You really need to sweep
But you really want to sleep
It’s the pregnancy dilemmaâÂ?¦
You really ought to cook
But you’d rather read a book
It’s the pregnancy dilemma.

It wears you to the bone
And your gut feels like a stone
You ache all over too
But there’s Oh, so much to do!
It’s the pregnancy dilemma!

You plan to make the bed
But fall asleep on it instead
It’s the pregnancy dilemmaâÂ?¦
Your kitchen is a wreck
But you say, Oh, what the heck
It’s the pregnancy dilemma.

Your tummy feels like lead
And the light just hurts your head
Your legs don’t want to move
And you just can’t find your groove
It’s the pregnancy dilemma!

Your family’s in a mood
‘Cause they can’t find any food
It’s the pregnancy dilemmaâÂ?¦
Your sink could use a shine
But instead you sit and whine
It’s the pregnancy dilemma.

You know it’s got to end
You just wish that you knew when
The baby is the master
But your house is a disaster
It’s the pregnancy dilemma!
