Power Play – A Fun Experience for the Whole Family
The most popular way to pay at Power Play is by using a VIP card. How it works is your money is converted into points which are scanned into the card ($20 will get you 80 points). When you want to play a game or ride a ride you will first scan the card and points will be automatically deducted. After you have loaded so many points onto your card, you will then become a VIP customer and get a small discount at every game or ride from then on. This is wonderful for those who are a regular customer at Power Play and go at least once a month.
Power Play also has an all-you-can-eat pizza buffet. That includes several flavors of pizza, a salad bar, tacos, pasta, and more. There are also two soda machines and two slushie machines to quench your thirst. As an added bonus, there is a TCBY located right next to the buffet area.
Not only are there video games, ski-ball, coin drop luck games, air hockey, and other arcade games but Power Play also features what they call Power Attractions. These include:
Whirly Ball
Go-Kart racing
Tilt-a-Whirl
Laser Tag
Cosmic Miniature Golf
and the Rascal Rocket (which resembles a smaller version of the Detonator at Worlds of Fun)
These Power Attractions are what truly sets Power Play apart from other places such as Chuck E Cheese and the Fun Factory. They are a fun and exciting addition to the usual arcade.
For the little kids, age 6 months to 7 years, there is a secluded area just for them. It contains a play land with tunnels, nets, and 4 different slides. Parents may accompany their younger children on this amazing play land. There is also a bouncy house, a train that houses up to 12 riders at a time, and several other machine rides. This area is just 12 points (the equivalent of $3) for unlimited play. For the moms who forgot their diaper bag the rest room has a changing station complete with the option to purchase a pack that includes a diaper, a large wipe, and a changing pad all for $.75.
In the back are several pool tables and a bar for the 21+ crowd to come and have a good time. Minors are not allowed in this area after the bar opens nor are those of age allowed to bring their alcoholic beverages into the general area.
Power Play is also a great place to have your child’s next birthday party. They have party packages starting at just $129.50 for 10 kids. That includes:
Pizza
Drinks
A TCBY birthday cake
A VIP card with points for each child
2 Power Attractions per child
A shirt for your child to let everyone know that it is their special day

There are other savings packages available. It can be just as cheap as going to Chuck E Cheese but ten times the fun!
Power Play truly has attractions to suit all ages and personalities. From the kid’s play place, to the Power Attractions, to the bar, and everything in between, the whole family can come and have a good time. The versatility of it allows a mother to be able to take her children for a day out or a great way for a group of young adults to spend a Saturday night.
