Product Review: Furniture You Assemble By Home Reserve Furniture

When we moved into our new house, we needed new furniture to freshen up the space. We didn’t want to spend thousands and came across Home Reserve Furniture that offered a quality product at a reasonable price. Customers can order sofas, loveseats, sectionals, chairs and ottomans.

The Furniture Comes in a Box

We received three boxes of parts (shipped by UPS) that once assembled became a loveseat and a large chair. Everything was vacuumed packed and well packaged with excellent instructions. We had fun the first time figuring out how it went together and the numbered parts helped tremendously. The 8-inch foam is of excellent quality. The frame is an engineered wood panel made of Aspen wood. The wood does have a toxic smell at first but evaporates soon.

You Pick The Fabric

We liked the idea that we could replace the fabric on our furniture for a seasonal change or if we wanted to redecorate. We picked a rich red corduroy for the pieces but Home Reserve offers over 100 fabrics to choose from that are washable. Home Reserve has a line of pet friendly fabrics that are stain resistant. You can wash the fabrics but put them back on wet so they don’t shrink in the dryer. I also routinely clean off dust with a damp rag or vacuum the furniture.

Built In Storage

Another selling point by Home Reserve is the storage area built into the bottom of each piece of furniture. Currently, we have photo albums tucked away but blankets and pillows would also fit if you have a sleeper sofa in the room. Our only complaint is if the two storage lid covers for the loveseat become interchanged they don’t fit correctly into the two slots causing the cushions to not fit properly. This only happens if we move the loveseat and get the storage covers mixed up.

Stylish Look

Home Reserve did their homework and offers a good-looking quality product. Woman’s Day, HGTV and Better Homes and Gardens give rave reviews of the furniture by Home Reserve. The furniture is available in five styles.

Durability of Furniture

The sofas will hold 2,000 pounds and Home Reserve offers a 5-year warranty and replacement for normal use if a part is defective. That means they send the part that broke and not another complete set.

Comfortable

Once the Home Reserve Furniture has been broken in, there’s a mad dash for who sits down first.

Affordability of Home Reserve Furniture

The sofas are $299, loveseats $239, chairs $179 and Ottomans $79. Shipping costs range from $20 to $57.

Moving Home Reserve Furniture

If you are moving and aren’t sure whether your furniture will fit, just take it apart and put it in a box.

We have been very pleased with Home Reserve Furniture and were surprised with this overall high quality product. In 4 years, there is some normal wear and tear but it still looks great. Check out their website at www.homereserve.com
