Product Review: Mr. Clean Microfiber Mitt

When Proctor and Gamble released the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser it seemed to open the gates to many new Mr. Clean products. Recent advertising campaigns have emphasized that Mr. Clean can be your first line of defense against stains. Since I am in the process of moving, I have been picking up cleaning products to prepare the house for turn over to a rental agency. I’ve always liked Mr. Clean products so when I spotted the Microfiber Mitt, I wondered if it would live up to the name like their other products have.

The Mr. Clean Microfiber Mitt is a soft lint free reusable hand mitt used for general cleaning. The mitt itself doesn’t have any cleaning agent in it. You can use the Mr. Clean Microfiber Mitt with just water for cleaning some areas. It allows you to clean up dirt, dust, and grime without harsh chemical cleaners. If you feel the need to spray your mirrors or windows with a glass cleaner, the Mr. Clean Microfiber Mitt is perfect for wiping the spray way. I was impressed with the streak free finish left by the microfiber mitt and how simple the job was just wiping my hand across the item I was cleaning.

The Mr. Clean Microfiber Mitt is found in grocery stores and major mass marketing stores like Wal-Mart or Target. The mitt is usually located in the section with sponges and disposable towels. The mitt is light blue in color and hangs from a small hang tag, not inside a box or additional packing material which requires disposal. A single mitt sell for a little under $2.00 and can easily be washed and reused multiple times.

House Peters Jr, the actor who played Mr. Clean in many of the early commercials for the product died earlier this month at the age of 92.
