You simply have to pull the two table sections apart to expose the cut channel. You can use circular saws that measure up to 7 1/4-inch with this cutting channel.
Another nice feature of the Skil 3100 portable workstation is the included ruler markings on the medium density fiberboard surface. They allow you to make quick and accurate measurements. The Skil 3100 also has a bump-off power switch so that you can easily turn off the power.
