Put Those Old, Unwanted Magazines to Good Use!
Idea #1.
Donate your magazines to Nursing Homes. Reading materials are always greatly appreciated in Senior Communities. Call the Director of Recreation to find out how easy this idea can be.
Idea # 2.
Contact your local school. You would be surprised how classrooms can utilize all the information found in these publications.
Idea # 3
Set up a magazine swap. Friends and family can make a great resource for sharing. Specialty magazines can be very popular with those who share your interests. Creative Keepsakes is a wonderful scrapbooking magazine that contains a wealth of information for all your scrapbooking pals.
Idea #4
Rainy Day Crafts. With Spring beginning to bloom all around us we will might choose it as our theme. Let your children browse through the pages and cut out anything that has to do with Spring. Once all their pictures and words are cut out let them glue the items to a piece of paper and BAM!!! You have a darling collage that will decorate your fridge for months.
Idea #5
Bring the magazines with you to the Gym. Time will fly as you pedal away on that stationary bike reading all about the latest gossip on celebs. When your workout is over leave the magazine behind for the next sweat hog.
Whatever you decide to do recycling is something we can all do to help. Enjoy reading and discovering ways to share your subscription.
