Refrigeration by Samsung? a Review

One of the biggest questions that I got when I was working in the Appliance Department of my last job, was, “I didn’t know Samsung made refrigerators.” Well, they do – and they are one of the highest quality refrigerators that were on our showroom floor. This is why whenever Samsung would come out with a new refrigerator, I would be so keen to show all of my customers them. The main reason is because the price on the units are pretty reasonable for the quality and features that you would be getting.

And the newest refrigerator that Samsung has come out with is the 26.1 Cu. Ft. Side-by-Side unit – Model RS263BBWP. This refrigerator is utterly massive, however, when you look at it, the size doesn’t seem that large – thus making is not obtrusively large, as most people think it would be when they imagine a refrigerator that is 26.1 Cu. Ft. large. Another great thing about this unit is that for under $1500.00 you will get some of the industries newest features – Samsung really has found a way to cram as much as they could into a machine without raising the cost too much.

This refrigerator uses the twin-cooling system to keep your refrigerator cool. Basically what the Twin-Cooling system is, is that within your refrigerator you have several multiple flow vents, which allow your refrigerator to keep your food crisp and fresh – basically no humidity or mugginess. There is a digital temperature control with multiple flow vents that regulate the temperature within the machine to create an accurate and consistent temperature – which, in turn, will prolong the life of your food.

The ice and water dispenser delivers refreshing, chilled water and ice at the press of a button. Do you have any children, or perhaps your children have children? Well, no worries, because this refrigerator has a child lock that “locks” the controls, preventing any of the little ones from spilling water or ice all over the kitchen floor – a really great feature. Within the water dispenser there is a world-class filtration system with removes all impurities from your water, giving you nothing but amazingly great taste. Within the door, there are gallon door storage unites, which help un-clutter your refrigerator shelves. Going back to having children, there is a door alarm which alerts you if the door is accidentally left open. This feature is amazing even if you don’t have children, because it literally helps you save costs on energy, and also helping to prevent food from spoiling. It was quite funny, on the showroom every-once-in-a-while, you would hear a slight beeping noise coming from one of the refrigerators, and I would have to run up and down the aisles, trying to find which refrigerator’s door was ajar – definitely a fun trick for new employees.

The warranty of this refrigerator is one year parts and labor. As with all refrigerators, or anything really, it is highly suggested that if an extended warranty is available for purchase, that you do exactly that – purchase it! Refrigerators are far too expensive to just “hope” that they continue working throughout the years. However, this is not saying that the Samsung is expected to breakdown. Oh no, far from it! Throughout all my time working with appliances, I can honestly say that Samsung has really outdone themselves with this particular unit! It is quite appealing to the eye, however, it is very practical, and it is just an all-around great refrigerator. I highly recommend the Samsung 26.1 Cu. Ft. Side-by-Side Refrigerator for anyone who is looking for a dependable and stylish addition to their kitchen!
