A tear drops,
like morning dew.
A smile hides,
the lonely pain.
A strong will,
once was weak.
Sensitivity,
becomes courage.
Food’s swallowed,
without taste.
Falling asleep,
tears of missing you.
Lips that speak,
long for your kiss.
My heart beats,
though it is torn.
I am trusting in the Lord,
I am praying,
I have asked,
soon will be the miracle,
as you will soon be home!
