Renaissance Festival in Harveysburg, Ohio

Bring your family and friends to a one of a kind experience this fall. Join knights and merry maids for a fun and educational weekend.

The festival is held every Saturday and Sunday during the months of September and October. Also, the entertainment is available on Labor Day. The hours of the event are 10:30 A.M. to 6:00 P.M.

Take a stroll around the thirty acre complex. The grounds are authentically recreated to mimic a sixteenth century English village.

Live a day in history while traveling the lanes of the village. You will enjoy listening to storytellers and traveling musicians. A knight in full armor competes for the Queen’s honor in a jousting contest.

Among the fantastic costumes and entertainers, you will find numerous activities to take part in. Man powered rides and climbing the castle walls to save the fair damsel are just a few ways to join in the fun. You can even try some archery.

Twelve stages are scattered throughout the area giving way to nearly 100 shows a day for the spectators to enjoy. The open marketplace offers a unique opportunity to purchase souvenirs. Visitors can watch craftsmen demonstrate their skills. Various handcrafted products are available for sale from over 130 vendors. This excellent selection is the perfect opportunity to do some holiday shopping.

Have a royal feast. Guests can dine on steak on a stake or a juicy turkey leg. Fish and chips, as well as, freshly baked bread and whole stews are terrific additions to the meal.

A fine selection of wines and beer is available to enjoy. To finish off your feast, try a moo malt for dessert.

On this website a season pass is available for only $65. General admission prices at the door are $16.99 for adults and $9.99 for children ages five to twelve. Kids under five are admitted for free!

When ordering your tickets in advance, consider ordering before the end of August. A four pack is available online for $80 allowing for remarkable savings. The four pack includes four adult admission tickets, four entrees, a Pepsi product for each person, and a dessert to top off the feast. Also included, is a discount coupon for ten percent off a souvenir purchase from a festival owned vendor.

If the deadline has passed, you can still receive discounted tickets online. There is a five dollar fee for ordering tickets from the website.

Each weekend offers something new at the Renaissance Festival. Labor Day weekend is opening weekend. This weekend is two for one! Simply ask at the box office and you will receive a savings of $16.99 on two adult admission tickets all weekend long.

Sept. 9 and 10 is kid’s weekend, where kids get in free. The Kroger co. has sponsored this event. All children under twelve are admitted at no charge.

September 16 and 17 are the dog days of summer. Come to the festival and help our furry friends. Featured guest this year is Greyhound Adoption of Greater Cincinnati.

The weekend of September 23 and 24, is Pirates’ Weekend and Clear Channel Weekend. Come out and support Children’s Hospital, a terrific organization helping kids around the Miami Valley area.

September 30 and October 1 celebrates Oktoberfest. The Renaissance Festival takes on a German flair this weekend. Traditional German food and fun can be found throughout the village.

October 7 and 8 Celtic Dreams comes to the Renaissance Festival as they celebrate their Highland Heritage.

The 14th and 15th of October, join channel 94.5 for Romance Weekend. This event will include a wooing contest and a mass ceremony for the renewal of wedding vows.

The final weekend of the festival is October 21 and 22. Take a final trip through the village before the 2007 season. Celebrate the Harvest Festival while enjoying fall foliage and fun.
