Review: Presto Flip Side Belgian Waffle Maker
I used the same recipe that I use for pancakes. I use Bisquick, eggs and milk. I plugged in the waffle maker sprayed it with PAM spray and let it heat up, and then I poured in my waffle mixture. You just close the cover and after a couple of minutes you flip sides and let the waffle finish cooking. The waffles were out of this world good! They were crispy on the outside and soft and tender on the inside. There is something so inviting about those two textures together. They just melt in your mouth! Sometimes I get adventurous and add blueberries to the waffle mixture or crushed strawberries. They are just delightful served with either syrup or with powdered sugar and fruit on the side. I suggest you use your imagination when making your waffles. I dare say I have made waffles that are comparable to the ones served in the restaurants mentioned above. This Presto waffle maker makes perfect waffles every time. They are 7 inches wide and they have the nice deep divisions and little square holes in the waffle to catch all your delicious syrup and butter.
The waffle maker has a digital display with a countdown timer in it. Cleaning is a breeze! I just go over it with a damp cloth and it is clean. I have never had a waffle stick in it. They come out perfect every time, so there is virtually no clean up. It is easy to store in your cabinets when you aren’t using it because it can be stored in the upright position.
