Review of Fabreeze, Glade and Renuzit Air Fresheners

I recently moved into a lovely large home that had not been lived in for over a year. Although the house is unbelievable and gorgeous, it has a musty smell to it. As I have purchased a variety of air fresheners, and I air the house out daily via the windows. I want to share my opinions on a few of the air fresheners I have purchased with consumers, to assist them in making an informed decision before making any purchases.

The smallest room in my house is the rest room. For this room I went with a small electric gel air freshener made by Renuzit, in a rain scent. For the affordable price of one dollar, this air freshener is decent for small spaces. It produces a light scent, that does make some what of a difference. My opinion of this Renuzit gel air freshener is high, considering the price. It would be ideal for small bathrooms, closets or other small enclosed areas that need a little something. However, the refills can be hard to track down and the gel packet dries out in about three weeks or so.

I placed a fabreeze air effects dual scented electric air freshener, in Citrus scents in my kitchen. As the fabreeze air effects air freshener claims to kill bacteria in the air, I thought it would be ideal in a kitchen or bathroom. I was worried it would be too strong of a scent for such a small room, this is why I didn’t place it in my small rest room. The Fabreeze air effects model is strongly and pleasantly scented. I have it on ‘low’ and it is definitely noticeable in my kitchen. I like the pleasant citrus scent, and after three weeks it is still not ready to be refilled. The price was about eight dollars for this unit, and in my opinion it was well worth every penny. I am not sure how much refills cost, but hopefully I won’t need to refill for a few more weeks at this rate. This is an awesome air freshener.

In my living room I placed a Glade wisp flame less candle. I not only love that this looks very much like a real candle, the glass holder is pretty and stylish. The Glade wisp flame less candle is a safe alternative to a traditional candle. It adds ambiance to the room, and a subtle or strong fragrance. I love that you can adjust the strength from a scale of one to five. The Glade Flame less candle will cost you about ten dollars for the starter kit, but it comes with every thing you will need, including the batteries. I love the Glade Flame less candle, it would be ideal for living or dining rooms, bedrooms or bathrooms. It is also a great alternative to candles for households with kids or pets.

I hope this review helps you decide what type of air fresheners to invest in.
