Review of Glade, Magic Meadow Scented Candle

I am a non-stop purchaser of candles. I collect them year round and absolutely love when new scents pop up on shelves; especially limited edition seasonal fragrances.

Glade in particular has been one go-to candle company I have grown fond of over the past few years, as the low prices, and strong aroma that the candles deliver are hard to be beat. Glade, like many other candle companies, tends to deliver brand new limited edition scents with each passing season, and this is why I have not yet grown bored of them.

My latest find was about a month ago called Magic Meadow, and it came packaged in a very springy package, featuring a green backdrop with a rainbow and butterflies. I does not take rocket science to figure out firsthand that it is a spring scent that will likely be around till summer.

How Does It Smell?

Glade, Magic Meadow Candle smelled fantastic right there in the store, and one sniff test and I knew I had to have it. The scent is a dewy melon fragrance that reminded me of honey dew, and cantaloupe.

My only hope was that when I got this one home, that the scent would remain the same when lit and burning.

Result When Burning:

Magic Meadow begins to permeate through the air nearly immediately after being lit. The fresh dewy fruit scent remains true to what I initially smelled when the candle was unlit. A warm honeydew melon scent, with a little pinch of cantaloupe in the mix.

To better put it, the candle smells delicious while burning. A nice soft melon mix that lasts even after extinguishing the candle, which is always a plus for those who like aroma to stick around and linger even after the fact.

Overall:

Glade has been pumping out new scents for quite a long time now, and with each passing year, they just get better and better. Magic Meadow is just another fine example.
