Review of Glade Salted Caramel Candle

Let’s face it, some of us hate that summer is ending, and that Fall is knocking on the front door. I however am not one of those people. I embrace it. The scents, the foliage change, the brisk fresh air, and did I mention the scents?

You pretty much cannot deny that Fall is coming, especially when you hit up your favorite local super stores and come across the pushy new items in relation to the season. One of the early bloomers of the season always tend to be found in the home fragrance sections of stores.

Glade in particular are always on par when it comes to their releasing of new fall fragrances. Right now in stores, still in the middle of summer you can find their collection of autumn themed candles, sprays, and room deodorizers.

I of course took it upon myself to buy them all.

The very first thing I tried was their Glade, Salted Caramel Candle. In the store, a quick sniff test revealed that this odd scent may be something I would like. It was semi weak in the package, but the creaminess of it just reminded me so much of a fall night that I couldn’t wait to try it.

Even though Glade’s Salted Caramel Candle was somewhat weak in the package, when I got it home and lit it up to let it burn, I was amazed at how powerful and delicious this creative fragrance truly was.

It only took about 5 minutes for the scent to really begin to hit the air and take over. The initial release that graces your presences is that of burnt marshmallow’s. It has this vanilla ting to it that is just divine. That scent however begins to get overpowered by a very realistic caramel scent that makes you think of Halloween candy. More so those clear wrapped cubes of caramel.

The saltiness however is there too, so the name truly fits the bill here. There is this strange little spice that backs up the vanilla and caramel scent which when combined smells like a salted caramel.

All in all Glade’s Salted Caramel Candle is a happy new edition to my home. I love the scent, I love the power of the scent and how quickly it manages to flood the room with that scent. I mostly love the way it brings the fall season into my home just a little early and preps me for the beautiful season that is on the way.
