Review of Gold Bond Ultimate Healing Skin Therapy Lotion

Have you been bothered with chapped hands or other troublesome skin irritations that never seem to go away? If so, you will want to check out this fantastic lotion I discovered about a year ago that has been such a blessing to my sensitive skin, including the irritated skin on my shins caused from eczema. One day I saw Gold Bond Ultimate Healing Skin Therapy Lotion advertised on TV and decided to give it a try. I was more than dubious about using another new lotion as most other lotions I had tried, including those suggested by my dermatologist, all made my eczema worse.

After shopping in several different local stores, I finally found a bottle of the Gold Bond Ultimate Healing Skin Therapy Lotion I had seen advertised. You can’t imagine how delighted and THANKFUL I was when the itchy red rash I had struggled with on my shins for several years was so much better after using this lotion for just 2 or 3 days. And, I never suffer with chapped hands anymore!

THE PRODUCT: GOLD BOND ULTIMATE HEALING SKIN THERAPY LOTION

Although this lotion is not “specifically” indicated to treat eczema, it IS formulated to “. . . help heal extremely dry, cracked, itchy and irritated skin.” That is a pretty good description, in my opinion, of how eczema affects my skin. Gold Bond Ultimate Lotion contains both moisturizers and vitamins. The 7 intensive moisturizers it contains have been clinically tested to keep your skin moist 24/7, which is why it is so effective for dry, cracked, irritated skin. Gold Bond Skin Therapy Lotion contains vitamins A, C and E, which are 3 essential vitamins that virtually nurture and renew the skin. As indicated on the lotion bottle: “Vitamin A – Improves Elasticity and Reduces Appearance of Wrinkles. Vitamin C – Promotes Skin Development and Collagen Formation. Vitamin E – Enhances Protective Function Of Skin and Minimizes Lipid Loss.”

Gold Bond Ultimate Healing Skin Therapy Lotion is non-greasy and penetrates quickly, leaving your skin feeling ever so soft and nurtured. It is great for using on your hands, arms, legs, feet, and also your back. In addition, this fabulous lotion is dermatologist tested and hypoallergenic, and is advertised as being gentle enough to use on your face. It has a very light fragrance that’s barely noticeable after applied to your skin. The lotion is quite thick, however, I have no difficulty in using either the pump on the bottle OR the squeeze tube when applying the lotion. It is definitely not greasy which is a big plus for me! After applying, my skin feels soft and smooth; the moisturizers continue to keep my skin from feeling dry throughout the day. You can use this lotion liberally as often as you need to without any adverse side effects.

Since this is a very rich lotion it goes a long ways, which also makes it a very cost effective lotion. The Gold Bond Skin Therapy Lotion in the bottle with the pump (14 oz. size) costs around $8.00 or so and can also be purchased online. The tubes (5.5 oz.) of this lotion cost around $6.50 or so, and if you can’t find it in your local stores, it can be purchased online. Just Google the words “Gold Bond Lotion” and you’re sure to find an online store that sells it.
