Review of Roto-Rooter Clog Remover Gel
When the garbage disposal, bathroom sink and bathtub drains were all clogged up at the same time, I wanted to avoid calling a plumber and decided to try a liquid drain cleaner first.
The first product I tried was Professional Strength Drano max gel. The price was only $3.98 at Wal-Mart. This product did not unclog the drains even after two applications. I decided to try one more product before calling a plumber.
The next clog remover I bought was Roto-Rooter clog remover at a cost of $6.97 at Wal-Mart. The front of the bottle had the statement, “Penetrates tough clogs – Guaranteed,” so I thought it was worth a try.
How it worked: The Roto-Rooter gel was thick. Following the directions, I poured it slowly into each of the 3 clogged drains, waited 10 minutes and then flushed each drain with hot water. I then ran water in each drain for a few minutes to see if they had unclogged. I was quite amazed and pleased that all three clogged drains were running smoothly with only one application. Roto-Rooter had definitely saved me the expense of a plumber.
Summary: Roto-Rooter Clog Remover Gel is an effective product well worth every penny of its cost. It unclogs drains quickly and is safe on all types of drains, including septic tanks and garbage disposals. Roto-Rooter Clog Remover is the only product I use for clogged drains. I have used it 1-2 times a year for the past several years and it has worked every time. I have not had to call a plumber for clogged drains since I started using Roto-Rooter Clog Remover Gel. Although it costs more than Professional Strength Drano, it works better and is well worth the extra cost, and much cheaper than having a plumbing service unclog the drains.
Where to buy Roto-Rooter Clog Remover Gel: Wal-Mart, Target, Lowe’s, Menard’s, and other home improvement stores. Be careful to purchase the correct Roto-Rooter product. Look for the Roto-Rooter Clog Remover and not the Roto-Rooter Build-Up Remover. . may be found with the household cleaning products or with the plumbing supplies.
Warning, precautions: Open bottle slowly and do not squeeze bottle. Do not use on toilets. Keep away from pets, children and do not use with ammonia or toilet bowl cleaners.
