Floridaze Sailing, located in Pensacola Florida, offers American Sailing Association courses ASA 101 Basic Keelboat Sailing, ASA 103 Basic Coastal Cruising, ASA 104 Bareboat Chartering, as well as a 3-day combination class and a 5-day combination class. Basic Keelboat Sailing is offered as a 2-day private lesson for 2 people for $750, which includes one night on the boat. St. Andrews Bay Yacht Club, located in Panama City, offers adult sailing lessons taught by a US Sailing certified instructor. The courses offered here consist of 24 hours, taught both in the classroom and on the water. Objectives of these courses are to teach boating safety and boat handling as well as to raise weather and water awareness in addition to decreasing anxiety on the water.
