Snake in My House

It was around 8 pm as I hardly remember on 11th of this month; suddenly my sister entered my room and said:

“Snake snake.”

My dad was running before me, as i started out of my room. Outside we saw our dog pointing itself at a gap near the stairs. There was a mice hole in that gap and he comfortably went into it.Only my sister had seen that serpent while crossing the lobby of our house.

Now Mr.S (that snake) had two options, either it should stay inside the hole or it should take the safe underground route to escape out of our house.

But second option was not acknowledged by that little pathetic creature’s mind.It might have escaped from the vicious hands of humans (us) at least for then.

Usually Mr.S is allergic to smoke, so we started firing some green leaves with sticks (green leaves bring more smoke basically) with an intention to bring it out. After say 5 minutes, I thought that it should have taken the second option (I should confess here why i ended up with a conclusion in 5 minutes? because i was seriously chatting with two of my friends online) and returned to my room. But my dad who knows more than me about Mr.S’s behaviour, waited out.

After 20 minutes another call came from my sister that

“Dad is calling u”

He pointed a pile of bricks and said that Mr.S went into that, he also told Mr.S was around 4 feet long, still i didn’t saw him, out of curiosity I went near the bricks hopefully and got only the tail which was some what brownish and glittering in dim street light.

I small justification will do here as I feel so.

“I usually don’t disturb any living thing until it disturbs me or any living thing which i care or which is under my cover (basically its my dad’s policy inherited)”.

If Mr.S was found outside of my house i should have let it go, I would have got that alive in my hands and left it away if it was small, but he was big for me and I think it can remember that path and return to our house if let go, this is really a great threat not only to us but to the two smart guys guarding our home.

I don’t feel good about writing here the rest happened i.e about how we killed that small helpless creature, because i regret it personally. There was no place for braveness here as I didn’t encourage killing animals.
