Sports Bars in Binghamton

As a Binghamton University student I can say a few things about the bars and places to party in Binghamton. One of the best places is the Binghamton Sports Bar. The Sports Bar, despite its name, really doesn’t have much to do with sports. Only on big sport nights like the Superbowl or NCAA tournament do the t.v.s show the games. The Sports Bar is still one of the most crowded and entertaining places to be.

The Sports Bar gets most of its crowd on a Friday and Saturday night. However Thursday night is also becoming a pretty popular night. If you go on a weekday night the beer there is cheaper because fewer people go.

The Sports Bar does card ID but it really isn’t that hard to get in depending on who you know. Most college students are able to get in despite being underage.

The Beers there are very cheap. You can get a beer for around $3 or less and a pitcher isn’t much more.

Atmosphere:

The atmosphere in the bar is great with people drunk and partying. Large groups of friends go to have a good time. Because beers are so cheap people get drunk a lot quicker. They have a wide range of alcoholic drinks to choose from.

You can get to the Sports Bar by taxi or even bus late at night. Cabs are $3 each way which is a great deal.

Bartender:

The bartenders are rally friendly if you go there alone and they are great people to talk to. They are great to watch as they are realy quick in delivering and making drinks for customers.

Make sure that you go to th Sports Bars with friends so that you are safe and having a good time with people you trust.

The bars open at varies times depending on the night, sometimes as early as 9 pm and they close late at night, at least till 3 am or later.

The RAT:

The RAT is a place that most college students go to for a great time. It is really a party place that large groups of people go to. Beer is really cheap there and there are so many pitchers that are served to customers. People there get really drunk but it is all in god fun. It is also very similar to the Sports Bar and gets really crowded on weekends.
